You also can tap into LA Fitness's other amenities:

Greenwood Park and Bells Lake Community Club

Bells Lake is roughly three-fifths of the Greenwood Park community complex. Bells is a 33-acre man-made lake with a pool, swimming lake, and community clubhouse surrounded by 20 acres of parkland.

Bells Lake has many facilities to provide cool relief for overheated bodies:

  • Swimming lake
  • Boating
  • Fishing
  • Eight-lane pool
  • Baby pool
  • Boat rentals
  • Picnicking
  • Basketball
  • Volleyball

For 2015, a season membership for a family of four is $630 (ages 4 and over). Your kids can join the swim team, dine at the snack bar, or take part in the Tri-County Swimming Championships (July 29 through August 5).

Book a party to wet your whistle while your friends and family wade in water, and Bells Lake provides free use of their tents. The tents cover picnic tables by the lake and allow for a breezy good time at a modest $6-per-guest fee.

The club is open daily during the season from 11 am until 9 pm, with lake swimming hours from noon to 7 pm. Pool hours are 11 am to 9 pm, but the pool closes for special events.

Boat rentals are $5 per half hour. The club is located in Washington Township at 52 Bells Lake Drive. Call 856-374-1294 or contact them online to learn more about event rentals, facilities, the swim team, and other activities.
