One of the things that makes New Jersey so great is that it's a big melting pot of cultures and races. With a Hispanic population of 1.5 million in the state, there's no reason why we shouldn't support them or their heritage.

Hispanic Family Center of Southern NJ

For about 40 years, the Hispanic Family Center of Southern NJ has worked to improve the lives of South Jersey residents. They provide a series of health, human and employment services to help everyone in need get the health and opportunities needed to lead a self-sufficient lifestyle.

The Hispanic Family Center of Southern NJ offers a variety of programs. Some of these include Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services and counseling services. On top of that, they also feature health education and senior services.

Above all, the Hispanic Family Center of Southern NJ offers Workforce Development programs. These programs will work to help residents find a job and provide them with all the necessary training so they can get the skills needed to ensure a successful and self-sustainable lifestyle they deserve.

Latin American Economic Development Association, Inc.

The Latin American Economic Development Association, Inc. (LAEDA) is led by Hispanic community and business leaders. For 28 years, they've helped to create small business ownership opportunities for all minorities and help grow current local small businesses in the South Jersey area.

Described as a non-profit economic development organization, the LAEDA features a number of programs designed to help local citizens achieve small business success. This includes their Entrepreneurial Development Training Program, which is structured to empower and help people start their own small business. This 9-week program teaches individuals business management, marketing and accounting skills, and all the basics of starting your own business.

Puerto Rican Unity for Progress

Puerto Rican Unity for Progress, or PRUP, is a renowned local organization dedicated to providing the necessary resources to help Spanish-speaking and all other low-income families lead a better life.

With their help, families in need can thrive. Their programs, like their Computer Training Program and ESL training, can set individuals up for success in the workforce. On top of that, PRUP makes legal advising services, as well as housing assistance and counseling, available to all low-income families in need.
